If you are a devotee of the Lord, His shaktis will always protect you and sustain you. The stronger your belief in the shaktis, the more the divine powers will work for you. The more you believe, the more you will harness and manifest the powers. The more you believe the more you receive. The divine powers, cosmic energies and higher beings always protect and watch over the true devotees of the Lord. They protect you, defend you and support you against all evil energies and dark entities that seek to cause harm. The more sewa, simran, satsang or sadhana that you do, the stronger your shield of protection and the stronger your spiritual powers. The more connected you are, the more protected you are. However, do not squander away your spiritual merit by asking for inconsequential mundane things... like transient material benefits and small favours for temporary gain. Save your spiritual merit for times of great need, times of trouble, turmoil or grave peril or you will deplete or exhaust...
