The reduction of desires is the route to happiness. Desire is the root cause of all suffering. It is only in the ephemeral moments of desirelessness that ensue after the fulfilment of a desire, that we truly experience contentment, serenity and bliss. When we pray to God, we should ask to be blessed with the spiritual bliss of desirelessness. This spiritual bliss is the highest thing to be desired from God. One can also train one's mind to attain this blissful state of desirelessness through sadhana, by converting desires into preferences. Preferences are harmless and non binding and do not lead to suffering. It is the non fulfilment of binding desires that is a constant source of suffering. The compulsivity to pursue desires can progressively be attenuated or controlled by concertedly exercising one’s will power to overcome the raga-dvesha or attachments-aversions that induce or drive those desires. True bliss and everlasting peace lie in attaining an abiding state of desirelessne...
It will not change until you accept it. Accept the things you cannot change. Practise radical acceptance. Stop fighting reality. Accepting things the way they are stops your suffering from escalating. You can reduce your pain and suffering by accepting that you cannot force things to change, you cannot bend the universe to your will and you have to patiently wait for the cycle to end. Surrender to the divine will and wait for the divine timing. No matter how badly you want something to manifest It will not happen if you force it or will it to happen. It will manifest when you are ready. The universe will know you are ready when you let go. Then it will manifest.   When your energy changes and you evolve spiritually then you will receive it. You need to be in the right energetic state by practising detachment and acceptance. When you are no longer fixated on the fruition of your desired outcome, the universe will grant your wishes. When you detach yourself from the desire...
If you are a devotee of the Lord, His shaktis will always protect you and sustain you. The stronger your belief in the shaktis, the more the divine powers will work for you. The more you believe, the more you will harness and manifest the powers. The more you believe the more you receive. The divine powers, cosmic energies and higher beings always protect and watch over the true devotees of the Lord. They protect you, defend you and support you against all evil energies and dark entities that seek to cause harm. The more sewa, simran, satsang or sadhana that you do, the stronger your shield of protection and the stronger your spiritual powers. The more connected you are, the more protected you are. However, do not squander away your spiritual merit by asking for inconsequential mundane things... like transient material benefits and small favours for temporary gain. Save your spiritual merit for times of great need, times of trouble, turmoil or grave peril or you will deplete or exhaust...

The supreme Self is the eternal reality. It is formless, changeless and imperishable. All objects with names and form are appearances projected on the substratum of the non dual Self. The changeless non dual Self experiences itself through the objective world of plurality and multiplicity through its interaction with multitudinous objects with name form and function. Every object of experience has a gross or subtle form. Everything that has a form is changeable. Everything that is changeable is perishable. Everything that is perishable is false. It is only an appearance in pure consciousness which is the infinite changeless substratum in which everything appears, exists, dissolves and disappears. Pure Consciousness is the non dual supreme reality. It is eternal infinite, all-pervading self-effulgent existence consciousness that projects, illumines and reveals every object of experience. It is one without a second. There is no second reality apart from it. There is no second object...
The ultimate way to worship God is to always follow dharma. Nothing pleases the Lord more than following dharma, the code of eternal righteousness and universal order. The best way to reach God and invoke His grace is to always maintain a prayerful attitude, follow dharma and always remain unattached to the fruits of your actions, knowing Him to be the karmaphala-data or the bestower of all karmic results, auspicious outcomes and just rewards. Set aside your personal agenda, set aside your likes and dislikes/attachments-aversions or raga-dvesha, perform all actions as a loving devotional service unto Him, offering Him the fruits of your actions and accept the outcomes ordained by Him as His will and grace. Those who set aside their raga-dvesha and always choose to follow dharma with a pure heart are dearmost to Him and obtain His abundant benevolent grace and merciful loving protection. Their welfare and protection is always granted by God. It is imperative to remain pure-hearted,...
